The Founder

Bhargav Ventrapragada, the visionary behind Helping Spot Organisation, is a passionate and dedicated individual hailing from Machilipatnam in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India. In 2015, he made the bold decision to leave his position as a junior IT officer at Krishnapatnam Port in Vizag to establish this organization. Bhargav’s profound connection to his hometown, a place inhabited by people from disadvantaged backgrounds, ignited his determination to make a difference.

Having witnessed numerous underprivileged children without access to education and young ones compelled to engage in child labor, Bhargav was deeply moved. Nurtured in a culture of literacy, morality, and values, he felt a strong calling to support these vulnerable children and families. Many families living in poverty were compelled to prioritize immediate earnings over their children’s education, presenting a significant challenge for Bhargav and his team in gaining their trust and convincing them that a brighter future lay in education.

With the ultimate goal of empowering and educating girls, Bhargav embarked on a journey to win their trust. Thus, the concept of “Mission Annapurna” was born, with the tagline “Sharing love through food.” Excess food from various venues such as function halls, hotels, and private homes was collected and distributed to the needy. This approach not only provided much-needed sustenance but also helped build a solid foundation of trust and credibility within the impoverished communities. Through numerous interactions and discussions, Bhargav and his team earned the trust of the residents.
